Wooridul Spine Hospital fellowship program is designed to provide fellows with intensive training in diagnosis and treatment of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery & Techniques (MISST), and research to meet this growing demand. The fellows will learn to evaluate and treat routine and complicated all areas of the spine, cervical, thoracic, lumbar and lumbosacral as well as both surgical and non-surgical methods of treatment.

Program Information
Endoscopic surgical anatomy, anesthesia
Endoscopic cervical decompression (ventral and dorsal approach)
Transforaminal endoscopic decompression for lumbar and thoracic spine
Interlaminar endoscopic lumbar decompression
Research & Academic Activities
Observation in the operating room (Scrubbing is allowed with certain restrictions)
Participation in daily preoperative conferences
Participation in the weekly Friday Tele-Conference and Spine Total Care (Held every Friday with medical staff and nurses)
Participation in research activities, including: Writing papers, journals, textbooks (Minimum requirement: at least 1 original article and 2 case reports)
Support & Benefits
Monthly stipend: KRW 1,000,000
* Housing is not provided
MISS course registration fee covered (up to 2 courses)
Meals provided at the hospital dining room (Korean-style meals for all meals)
Assistance during operating room activities
Academic conference attendance support
Certificate of Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery(MISS) Specialist will be awarded
